# Prerequisites

### Interacting with local Hycon Node

The below REST API routes require the following to provide accurate responses:

* A fully synchronized Hycon node
* Read and write permissions to storage for the Hycon node (*may require admin rights*)
* Sufficient storage space for the Hycon node and blockchain information
